In every November, the interesting activity Diwali is held by NCU Indian Student Association. This activity has promoted the exchanges between Taiwanese students 2017 Diwali in NCU and Indian students. In this activity, we can watch the traditional Indian dance, we can hear the melodious Indian music, and we can even enjoy real Indian cuisine.
Without knowing anything about Indian culture, I joined the Diwali in the Zhi Dau Hall on October 15th , 2018. As soon as I entered the Zhi Dau Hall, I saw the welcoming Indian students waving and fervently saying "Hello" to me with Indian accent. At this moment, I felt very warm, and I also felt the enthusiasm from South Asia. At the opening of the Diwali event, there were also friendly Chinese and English hosts. Therefore as a Taiwanese student, I could also understand about the activities in time. In addition, arranging the English host also made the event more international and diverse.
