上奧地利應用科技大學（FH Oberösterreich）位於奧地利北方的上奧地利地區，特色是由四個校區所組成，分別坐落於Hagenberg、Linz、Steyr及Wels等地，是奧地利教育、科技及民眾就業重鎮。        因為自己本身是管理學院的學生，因此申請到的是在Steyr的校區，屬於管理學院，其中有國際物流系、全球銷售與行銷學系、生產管理學系、會計及金融學系、醫療照護管理學系。每個科系都具有特色，在上奧地利區佔有獨特的地位且孕育出許多傑出的校友。        關於修習課程的方面，除了按照中央大學交換計畫以及姐妹校的修課規定，必須修習兩門課程或者超過20個ECTS外，我也選了許多自己有興趣且不同上課方式的課程。歐洲學校和台灣學校計算學分有很大的不同，歐洲學校使用的是ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) ，歐洲學分互認體系，是歐洲諸國間在高等教育領域互相銜接的一個項目，以確保各國高等教育標準相當。並且歐洲教育體系和台灣最大的不同在於教學方式的多元。在台灣是屬於每一門課都是每周上課，時數較長；歐洲則是除了技術類的課程如語言類為每周上課外，其它又分為Block、Seminar，兩種不同的課程。而我在這學期在這三種不同類型的授課方式各選了幾門課，除了修習當地語言-德文外，也選了國際行銷、衝突管理、組織行為變革管理……等的課程。

     November 12th, at the student activity center (Zhi-Dao Hall), Indian Society in Taiwan and NCU Student Ambassador held an event to celebrate Diwali in NCU. The celebration turned out to be a great success with beautiful lights and fabulous performance.
     Diwali, Hindu Festival of Lights, is celebrated every year in autumn. It spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. Its celebration includes millions of lights shining on housetops, outside doors and windows, around temples and other buildings in the communities and countries where it is observed.[11] The festival preparations and rituals typically extend over a five-day period, but the main festival night of Diwali coincides with the darkest, new moon night of the Hindu Lunisolar month Kartika in Vikram Samvat calendar. In the Gregorian calendar, Diwali night falls between mid-October and mid-November.
